Kawasaki India has launched the 2017 Ninja 650 in India for Rs. 5.69 lakhs (Ex-showroom, Delhi). The Ninja 650 gets a bold design with a sharper fairing. The design seems to have taken inspiration from it's bigger sibling - the Ninja ZX-10R. It now gets a new and shorter tail section.
Powering the 2017 Kawasaki Ninja 650 is a 649cc, liquid-cooled, twin-cylinder engine delivering 67.2 bhp at 8,000rpm and peak torque of 65.7Nm at 6,500rpm. The mill is mated to a 6-speed transmission. Other design changes include lower 790mm split seats, a new, more rigid trellis frame and three new colours - Metallic Spark Black, Blizzard Pearl White and Candy Burnt Orange. The Ninja's 650cc parallel twin motor is the same one used in the Z650.
