2017 MotoGP : Race 6/18 Results

An Italian winner, on an Italian Bike, on an Italian circuit in Mugello. A line that makes every every racing fan happy. Andrea Dovizioso on his Ducati took the top honors, completing the race in 41 minutes and 32.126 seconds, and the title leader Maverick Vinales coming second one second later.


Veteran and legendary racer Valentino Rossi came in behind the podium finishes at 4th, and the defending champion Marc Marquez could only manage fifth. Valentino Rossi, despite the injuries, managed to ride throughout and put the pressure on the top three. the major highlight of the race was the last lap crash of Cal Crutchlow and Dani Pedrosa, effectively costing Dani a chance to break into the top three in the rider's standings.


The Moto 2 also saw a similar top finish, with an italian taking the top draw. Mattia Pasini, riding for Italtans Racing. Marc Marquez's younger brother, Alex Marquez came in third.
