2018 Hero Super Splendor, Passion Pro and Passion XPro unveiled

Hero MotoCorp has unveiled 2018 Hero Super Splendor, Passion Pro, and Passion XPro in the country today.  In terms of chassis and cycle parts, the three motorcycles see no changes. They come with the company's patented iSmart feature, which helps in reducing fuel consumption by switching the engine off while idling in traffic. The motorcycles are BS-1V compliant. The expected prices will be slightly higher by about Rs 700 to Rs 2000 compared to existing models, and will be announced by next month.



The 2018 Hero Passion Pro is powered by 109.2 cc engine and the mill develops 9 bhp of power at 8,000 rpm, and 9 Nm of torque at 5500 rpm. The powerplant works in tandem with a 4-speed gearbox. The motorcycle comes with telescopic front fork, and twin rear shock absorbers. It gets side stand indicator, redesigned fuel tank, maintenance free battery and mobile charger as an accessory. It will be available in 5 metallic colours.




The 2018 Hero Super Splendor iSmart 125 gets changes to the bodywork, new graphics and a bigger seat as well. The motorcycle draws power from the in-house 124.7 cc air cooled,  single cylinder engine. The powerplant puts out 9 bhp at 7,000 rpm, and 10.35 Nm at 4,000 rpm. The engine mates with a four-speed transmission. It gets new headlamp with AHO, new speedometer console and lockable seat. It will be available in 5 metallic colours with graphics.



The 2018 Hero Passion XPro draws power from the indigenously developed 110 cc TOD (Torque On Demand) engine and has a more stylish appeal over Passion Pro. The mill makes 9 bhp of power at 7,500 rpm, and 9 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. The engine works in tandem with a 4-speed gearbox. It gets sharper new design with twin pilot lamps, dual tone mirrors, LED tail lamp and differently styled rear section. It will be available in 5 metallic colours.
