Triumph Motorcycles India has launched the all new 2018 Tiger 800 range . The XR costs Rs. 11.76 lakhs, XRx costs Rs. 13.13 lakhs while XCr costs Rs. 13.76 lakhs . Triumph is also offering exclusive benefits on the new Tiger range currently.
New paint schemes, new graphics, new adjustable windshield, new LED DRL's intergrated into the headlights, as well as changes in ergonomics are only some of the 200-odd changes to the new model. The in-line three-cylinder 800cc engine develops 94 bhp @ 9500 rpm and 79 Nm @ 8050 rpm of torque, and it has been tuned to be more off-road friendly. The same retuning has been given to the transmission as well since the gearbox has a shorter first gear. The motorcycle also gets an all-new front-end design which gives the motorcycle a sharper look, thanks to the new LED headlamp setup. The bies come with enhanced chassis, brakes and suspension, premium bodywork, high quality graphics and luggage comfort.
The instrument cluster is also new as the Tiger will now come with a coloured TFT instrument cluster which first made its way to India on the Street Triple RS. The chassis and the swingarm, though, remain the same. The XR comes in Jet Black and Crystal White colours, Xrx in Jet Black, Crystal White, Jet Blue and Matte Jet Black colours.
