The 2019 season of Dakar will witness 334 vehicles battling it out in different categories which include bikes, cars, ATVs, buggies and trucks. The total number of participants are 534, among which 135 will be making their debut in the rally event. Moreover, the upcoming season also has 17 women participants which is the highest figure yet. Set to start from January 6, 2019, the Dakar as is the case every year, will be an ultimate test of the rider’s endurance, riding and navigation skills. The rally concludes on January 17, 2019.
