The iconic Jawa is going to make a comeback this year. 3 Jawa bikes will be launching in India which will retain the original classic looks. The bikes will be squarely aimed to rival against Royal Enfield bikes.
The legend is arriving. That’s what all the Jawa lovers are saying right now. The peppy two-stroke cafe racer bikes are launching in India this year! Last year, Mahindra and Mahindra took control of the brand and now plans to launch it in India. Mahindra already has collaborated with owner of Classic Legends. A total of 3 bikes are launching by the end of this year. We do not know more details about these three bikes, but the says that it will look like a pure retro classic.
The expected model is Jawa 350. Although their bikes go up to 650cc, the details are not out yet. However, the manufacturing will take place at Mahindra’s Pithampur plant in Madhya Pradesh. It will follow heavy localization for relatively lower prices. The bikes are expected to come with chrome inserts, spoke wheels, a single seat, and other such retro design elements. Other reports suggest that the 3 bikes will use engines and platforms of the Mojo bikes. If it does, it can have a competitive price range.
