The prices of the Bajaj Dominar 400 have been hiked by Rs 2,000 for both the versions of the bike on sale. The price of the standard version of the bike now is Rs 1.38 lakh (Ex-showroom, New Delhi) and the price of the twin-channel ABS model is Rs 1.52 lakh (Ex-showroom, New Delhi). When the Dominar 400 was launched, its biggest USP was the value for money and now even after a Rs 2,000 price hike, nothing much has changed. It continues to offer the kind of power and features that no other motorcycle near its price offers.
The Dominar 400 is powered by the KTM-sourced 373cc engine but Bajaj has worked on the engine to make it suitable for the Dominar 400. In the Dominar 400, it makes 35bhp and 35Nm of torque. It is the cheapest bike in India that offers a slipper clutch which is a boon when riding spiritedly and downshifting hard. The price hike is reflected on the official Bajaj website.
