Bajaj Pulsar NS160 will have design influences taken from the larger NS 200 sibling; to feature an oil-cooled, triple-spark engine.
Based on a modified platform of the Pulsar 150, the Bajaj Pulsar 160 NS gets the same steel perimeter frame of the Pulsar NS, AS and RS series and the Dominar 400. The power and torque could be slightly more than the current Pulsar 150 available right now that delivers around 15 bhp of power and 12.5 Nm of torque. In Turkey, Bajaj recently unveiled the Bajaj Pulsar 160 NS that can deliver around 15 bhp and 14.6 Nm.
The Bajaj Pulsar 160 NS gets a kick starter like the AS 150 and Pulsar 150, and a fuel tank with side panels similar to the upcoming Bajaj Pulsar 200 NS FI set to launch in January 2016. It also gets a similarly-shaped halogen headlight and the same digital-analogue instrument cluster and tachometer. The bike gets an underbelly exhaust, split seats and grab rails, the same split LED taillights, and an engine cowl. The dealer event and unveiling in Turkey showcased a black and red Bajaj Pulsar 160 NS, and the bike is set to launch in early 2017.
