Featured Rider : Sameera Dahiya

Sameera Dahiya, a rider from Haryana, who now stays in Bangalore, started riding in 2015 and has since not looked back. She took her first solo trip to Coorg and covered a distance of 8000+ kms in 2015.  In 2016, she left her IT job and lived her dream of riding. She has travelled a distance of 29000+ kms in 18 months. covering the states of Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra (Pune & Mumbai), Daman, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi and Punjab. 


Recently, she got selected for 2017 TVS Women's  Racing Championship that starts this June and ends in October. She has never had any previous training or experience on race track and this experience will provide her a new avenue. She also teaches riding to women who, dream of riding bikes and has met some wondeful women in this journey.


She owns a clothing firm that designs with old material (recycled) and also practices Yoga regularly. She has learnt many lessons with riding but most importantly she learnt to always stay positive and believe. "Never lose hope and always learn from mistakes..There is so much to learn and explore..One must learn to tap into inner self and follow ones' passion".
