Vadivel Baluchamy, a para rider from Madurai, Tamil Nadu is on the 'Golden Quadrilateral Ride', covering a distance of 6404+ kms on his Royal Enfield Classic 350. He started his ride on September 24, 2017 at 5.00 am in the morning from Decathlon, Madurai, then travelled to Chennai and then to Andhra Pradesh. He is heading towards Bhubaneshwar today. The cause of his ride is 'Inspiring Amputees to Live Strong!’
An avid biker, Vadivel met with a road accident in 2012 after which he was forced to ampute his left leg below the knee. After months of recuperation, he found his love for bikes as strong as before. Though many people around him opposed his idea of riding again, he listened to his heart. With a determination and strong grit he took up his passion and since then has never looked back. He met many inspirational people around him, including Mr.Rajneesh Kumar of Freedom Riders, Mr.H.V. Kumar, Throttle COO Mr.Ankit Gandhi, Ms. Esha Gupta, Mr.Jothi, Mr.Pankaj Mall(Cyclist). Mr. Sharath Madhav and Mr.Balaji Mohan, who have helped him achieve his goal.
Throttle Team wishes him good luck!
