Meet Harteij Bhartesh, a rider, cancer survivor and his Ride of Hope
This young man has faced the darker side of life too early. He was a victim of cancer at a very early age. During his fourth year in a law school, Harteij was diagnosed with last stage of Hodgkin’s Lymphona, a rare type of cancer originating from lymphocytes. Initially he refused to undergo chemotherapy sessions as they had many side effects and chose to undergo alternative medicines to get well. But soon he realized that chemotherapy was the only option that could cure him. After several chemotherapy sessions, he won the battle against the deadly disease. Since then, he has been visiting numerous cancer patients and telling them the importance of right medication. He hopes to inspire many souls by telling them his story and giving a brave fight to cancer.

He is on a campaign on his motorcycle called ‘Ride of Hope’ that aims to spread the message that cancer can be defeated. He started his ride on May 1, 2016 from Raipur on his Kawasaki Ninja and wants to cover a distance of 30,000 kms in the next five months. He has travelled to Nagpur, Mumbai, Pune, Solapur, Hyderabad, Bangalore and Chennai. He has received support from various biking groups like Riders of Nagpur, BAC Nagpur and Wanderers. In Bengaluru, he got support from the riders of Bigbang Biker, COPS, Dawn Riders and Battalion Riders.

Throttle Team supports this noble cause and wishes him good luck for his ride.
