Intermot 2016 kicks off with many new bike announcements

Intermot 2016 kicked off in Cologne, Germany with many new bike announcements for 2017. The most awaited show of the year, it is attended by motorcycle enthusiasts, manufacturers from around the world and media representatives. The event is scheduled to take place till October 9, 2016. 

There were a host of announcements from premium motorcycle manufacturers. Some of the big announcements made were:

Honda announced the Stunning new 2017 Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade SP, new CBR1000RR Fireblade SP2 homologation special,  cafe-cool CB1100RS and Retro Honda CB1100EX updated for 2017.


Ducati has revealed its SuperSport model and several other  minor upgrades to other Ducatis bikes


KTM has announced its new adventure series - KTM 1290 Super Adventure R, KTM 1290 Super Adventure S, KTM 1290 Super Adventure renamed Super Adventure T, KTM 1090 Adventure R and KTM 1090 Adventure.


Yamaha  has announced  its All-new Yamaha MT-10 SP, Updated Yamha MT-09 and its Yamaha SCR950 will be heading to Europe.


Triumph has announced its new models - New 900cc Triumph Bonnevilles and its Street Cup cafe racer.


Suzuki has unveiled All-new Suzuki GSX-R1000R, New 2017 V-Strom 650,  Suzuki V-Strom 1000 updated for 2017, New 2017 Suzuki GSX-S750 and  the All-new 2017 Suzuki GSX-R125.


Kawasaki has announced that New Kawasaki Ninja 650 will replace ER-6f,  update for 2017 Kawasaki Z1000SX, Homologation special ZX-10RR and  the New Kawasaki Ninja H2 Carbon.


BMW have set the covers off  the R nineT Racer that leads BMW's retro revolution, Updated BMW S1000 range, BMW R nineT Pure joining the retro range and Refreshed  2017 K1600GT.


Aprilia has announced Revised Aprilia RSV RF, Tuono 125 and Tuono V4 for 2017 and Moto Guzzi have revelead the Audace Carbon bike.
