The special collaboration effort between Indian and Jack Daniels has seen the new super rare Chieftain model sell out in just 10 minutes. Pre-order deposits were taken for the limited-edition machines at noon last week, by 12.10pm all 100 units were filled. It’s the second year that Indian have collaborated with the iconic Tennessee whiskey distillery; Last year they used a Springfield as the base model, with an allocation of 150 machines that sold out in eight hours.

“This overwhelming level of demand is an incredible testament to the power of these two iconic American brands,” said Steve Menneto, President of Motorcycles for Polaris Industries.  “Without a doubt, this brand collaboration and motorcycle are tapping directly into a deep sense of patriotism and American pride. We couldn’t be prouder to be a part of it.”

Only one of the show-stopping, custom-inspired baggers will be coming to the UK, with other European countries also getting one a piece. Klock Werks Cycles of Mitchell, South Dakota had a large design input on the bike. The white and black crystal paint scheme has charcoal coloured accents that were inspired by Jack Daniel’s charcoal-mellowing process. The distinctive Old No. 7 logos also feature around the bike.
