Kawasaki India has launched the fourth dirt bike in its line up – the KLX 140G. Priced at Rs 3.91 lakh (Ex-showroom, Delhi), the KLX 140G fits between the KLX110 mini-bike and the two-stroke KX100F.
The KLX 140G gets all the characteristic traits of a dirt bike – minimal bodywork, raised exhaust, tall suspension, high ground clearance and spoke wheel with off-road tyres. The narrow profile and ergonomics have been designed to make keep the rider comfortable even while tackling the harshest of terrains. The KLX140 is based on a steel perimeter frame. At the heart is a 144cc four-stroke, single-cylinder engine mated to a five-speed transmission. The KLX140 rides on 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wheel, with 33mm front forks and a fully-adjustable rear monoshock. It gets a 220mm disc brake at the front and a 186mm at the rear. The motorcycle weighs just 99kgs and gets a 5.8-litre fuel tank. The KLX140G is offered in a single Lime Green colour option.
