With a plan to spread legal awareness in 36 districts of the state in the next 22 days, a team of 14 bikers from Indore set off on a trail 'Nyay Sankalp Yatra' on Monday. The rally, which flagged off from Indore high court, made its way till Khargone on its first day, where a host of programmes were organised to make people aware about their legal rights.

"The aim of the rally is to show people the methods of quickly resolving disputes through mediation and lok adalat and to also spread awareness about laws relating to child abuse, juvenile delinquency, domestic violence, female feticide and other such crimes which occur in villages but are not reported at the police station," Rekha Dwivedi, district legal aid officer said.
