Ira Bogra, presently working as the senior school coordinator learnt to ride a bike just by obervation. She always had a passion  for riding a bike and wanted to own a bike but unfortunately couldn't till 2015. Her sons are her biggest supporters.
She joined Soaring Eagles Moto Club (SEMC) in 2015 and  is the secretary of the club. The president of SEMC, Mr Michaelangelo Francis helped her fulfill the dream of owning a bike. He not only helped her to buy the bike that suited her comfort and style but has always motivated her to ride without inhibitions. She chose to buy the Bajaj Avenger 220 as her first bike. She feels that it is comfortable not only for long distance riding but even for city riding. She is currently riding the same bike. Being the only woman rider in the club she gets good support from others and the club conducts seminars on road safety to promote safe riding/ driving.
Her most memorable ride was the December ride from Chandigarh to Agra, Fatehpur Sikri, Gwalior and Bharatpur, where she rode back from Bharatpur to Chandigarh in one go !
A special message that she would like to give bikers is - 'One should never give up our dreams.  I have been able to fulfill my dream and passion after more than twenty years. Live to ride and not to die. Stay safe. Always wear proper riding gear and then ride. Remember, we all have loved ones waiting for us at home'.
