MV Agusta’s top boss, Giovanni Castiglioni has teased the Brutale 1000 on social media. Likely to be called the Brutale 10000 Hypernaked; the teaser image reveals the tank of a clay model. This tank looks more aggressive and is sharper than the one on the Brutale 800 and like the latter appears to be built on a tubular trellis frame. While details of the bike have not yet been revealed, we can expect it to be powered by a 998cc, inline-four engine similar to the supersport F4. However, unlike the F4’s unit, the Brutale 1000’s engine will be Euro-5 compliant.
The MV Agusta Brutale 1000 is likely to carry forward the styling of the ‘Brutale’ family with a circular full-LED headlamp, svelte rear section and the uniquely designed ‘floating seat’. We also expect it to sport the distinctive triple exhaust and exposed single-sided swingarm. The bike will come equipped with a full-colour TFT display, and an extensive list of electronic aids. The Italian manufacturer is likely to showcase the Brutale 1000 Hypernaked at the 2018 EICMA next month.
