Royal Enfield 650 Twins launch will happen after April 2018 in India. It will first launch the 650 twins in the UK next month and then in other markets. The brand has started displaying the bikes in dealerships in Australia. Though Royal Enfield has not given a specific release date, expect the brand to launch it once it is ready for the demand in the local market.
The Royal Enfield 650 Twins are made in Chennai. It is also reported that the price is unlikely to exceed INR 3.5 lakhs (Ex-showroom); and will undercut competition (Harley-Davidson Street 750 & Kawasaki Vulcan S) by a considerable margin. Royal Enfield says the price difference between the 650 Twins and its 350 cc portfolio will be similar to the price gap between 150 cc bikes and its 350 cc motorcycles. The Kawasaki Vulcan S costs INR 5.44 lakhs, while the Street 750 will set you back by INR 5.17 lakhs, (both Ex-showroom, Delhi).
