Recently, photos of a Royal Enfield electric motorcycle have been reported online. The bike is believed to be showcased at the company's Thailand showroom. The electric Royal Enfield's chassis has been redesigned to fit the battery housing in place of the engine. A belt drive replaces the chain drive on the electric Bullet. The electric motorcycle also features a fully digital instrument cluster with smartphone integration. Also, the famous thump-noise generating exhaust is missing.
From the images reported, many details of the Royal Enfield electric motorcycle are unclear, except that it is based on the Classic 350 model and features Ohlins dual rear suspensions. Also, it is not sure if this was a project by Royal Enfield or a Royal Enfield enthusiast who has developed the electric Bullet.
