Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 launched at starting price of Rs. 2,50,000 and Continental GT 650 at starting price of Rs. 2,65,000

Royal Enfield has launched the much awaited bikes - Continental 650 and Interceptor 650 at a starting price of Rs. Continental GT650 Standard for Rs. 2.65000. Custom for 2,72,500 and Crome for 2,85,000 . The Interceptor 650 Standard for Rs. 2,50,000, Custom for Rs. 2,57,500 and Crome for Rs. 2,70,000. (All prices, Ex-showroom, India). For states where road taxes are higher, the ex-showroom prices have been further reduced to Rs. 2.34 lakh for the Interceptor 650 and Rs. 2.50 lakh for the Continental GT 650. 


The Royal Enfield 650 Twins are powered by the biggest and most powerful engine built by the Indian motorcycle manufacturer after becoming an Indian brand. The 648 cc engine is capable to produce 47 bhp @7100 rpm and 53 Nm @5200 rpm of torque and is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

Both the motorcycles have ByBre (by Brembo) twin piston callipers on disc brakes on both the wheels, dual channel ABS, a 130 section rear tyre, 36 spoke aluminum alloy rims, slipper clutch, a kerb weight of 202 kg, ground clearance of 174 mm, and a steel tubular frame. The Indian version gets the saree guard accessory. The deliveries of the same will commence in January 2019. 

Both the Continental GT 650 and the Interceptor INT 650 will be available in a variety of colors and distinct styles - Standard, Custom and Chrome. While the Standard range of colorways takes inspiration from the motorcycles of the 50’s and 60’s, the Retro Custom range is a bolder version of graphics and colors.
