Royal Enfield sales up 27% at 76,087 units in March

Royal Enfield posted a strong sales of 76,087 motorcycles in the month of March 2018, closing the financial year by recording a growth of 27 per cent over the same period last year. The two-wheeler division of Eicher Motors, Royal Enfield, posted 60,113 motorcycles in the same period last year.



Domestic sales were at 74,209 units in March, against 58,549 units in the year-ago month, up 27 per cent. International sales were at 1,878 units in March, against 1,564 units in the year-ago month, up 20 per cent.

 

On the other side, Royal Enfield closed the financial year 2017-18 by posted a robust sales of 820,492 motorcycles, recording a growth of 23 per cent over the same period last year. It posted 666,490 motorcycles in the same period last year. Domestic sales were at 801,230 units in fiscal 2018, against 651,107 units last year, up 23 per cent. International sales were at 19,262 units in FY18, against 15,383 units last year, up 25 per cent.
