TVS Motor Company launched the Apache RR310 in India in December last year, with prices starting at INR 2.05 lakh (Ex-showroom). Now, about four months post the launch, TVS has silently hiked the prices of its first fully faired motorcycle by INR 8,000. The prices for the TVS Apache RR310 will start at INR 2.13 lakh against the earlier price tag of INR 2.05 lakh. The only exception to this price hike would be the state of Kerala, where the road tax for motorcycles above INR 2 lakh is 20%. Hence the RR 310 has been priced in the said region at INR 1.99 lakh, helping it fall into the tax bracket of 10% for bikes below INR 2 lakh.
Available in two colour options including Racing Red and Racing Black, the TVS Apache RR 310 comes equipped with a host of features such as Bi-LED projector headlamps, LED DRLs, LED turn indicators, LED tail light, vertically stacked fully digital instrument console, dual channel ABS and Michelin Street Sport tyres.
The motorcycle is powered by 312 cc, single cylinder, liquid cooled, fuel injected, reverse inclined engine. This engine is capable of producing a maximum power output of 34 PS at 9,700 rpm while the peak torque of 27.3 Nm comes up at 7,700 rpm, and is paired to a six speed gearbox.
