TVS divulged the Draken X21  which is the first liquid-cooled 250cc street fighter concept motorcycle,  which looks stunning but has still not hit the production. According to ancient Greek mythology, the word “Draken” was described by a hundred headed dragons armed with serrated teeth soaked in fatal poison.

The TVS Draken X21 concept motorcycle has a futuristic appeal thanks to its asymmetric headlight design with LED headlamp element and daytime running lights, reversed free flow exhaust system, off act rear monoshock suspension structural sub-frame and active matrix digital instrument console. Other striking visual features include muscular fuel tank with scoops, meaty swing arms and humongous times. The liquid cooled engine of Draken X21 has a very nearly under the engine and coming out ahead of the front brake lever. However the exhaust tip is strategically placed away from the rider’s foot. The company calls this system a high performance reverse free flow exhaust system.

Powering the Draken X21 is a 249.2cc, 4-valve, liquid- cooled engine with DOCH layout which produces a 38.50bhp of maximum power at 12000rpm and 23 Nm of maximum torque at 9500rpm. The concept TVS Draken X21 bike runs on 95 octane fuel which returns a claimed fuel of 33.3 km/litres and is coupled to a six speed gearbox. TVS has provided a high performance reverse free flow exhaust system on the TVS Draken X21 that is placed under the engine. The new Draken X21 has a wheelbase of 1340mm and a ground clearance of 170mm along with a fuel tank capacity of 10 litres and it weighs around 134kgs along with a bore and stroke of 77x53.5mm respectively. TVS claims that Draken X21 can reach 0-60 in just 2-7 seconds with a top speed of 165kmph. BMW hasn’t developed this bike, nor has it helped TVS in making it.
