Valentino Rossi has been declared fit to compete in the MotoGP race in Mugello this weekend, after a motocross training accident in Italy.
The 38-year-old Italian spent a night in hospital after suffering chest and stomach injuries in the crash. He said on Wednesday he was still in "severe pain", but passed a medical check 24 hours later.
The nine-time world champion is third in the standings and 23 points behind team-mate and leader Maverick Vinales.
