Wear helmet to save your life and not for challan

A 33-year-old software engineer from Bengaluru lost his life on the spot after his motorcycle rammed into an electric pole recently. Inspite of having a helmet, he was not wearing it but holding it in his hand, police said.

 

A resident of Hebbal who hailed from Madikeri, he died due to severe injuries. He was on his way home on his KTM Duke bike when he lost control of the vehicle and hit an electric pole on the footpath. Passersby alerted police who shifted him to the hospital where doctors declared him ‘brought dead’. Police said initial probe revealed that he was carrying his helmet in his hand which broke due to the impact (and not wearing it). 
 
 
Inspite of various measures taken for Road Safety, it is still seen that riders do not wear this important safety gear. Throttle Team, being a firm supporter of road safety, urges all its riders to take all safety measures and make our roads safer.
