The season comes to an end with the final race in Qatar. Chaz Davies finished first in both race 1 as well as race 2 while Rea was crowned the champion.

Race one –

In the race 1 of the World SBK Championship of this week, Aruba Ducati’s Chaz Davies put up a great performance to finish 1st in Qatar.  Meanwhile Jonathan Rea who came 2nd in the race was crowned World Suberbike Champion for the second successive time.  Rea was at the pole position and started by leading the race but was eventually overtaken by Davies and Honda’s Nicky Hayden into turn one but managed to pull back by blowing past by Hayden.  Rea looked content in the 2nd place, as he only required two points from the race to secure his title.  Sylvain Guintoli who passed Skyes on lap three taking up the 4th place caught Nicky Hayden. The Frenchman took seven laps to pass Hayden and finished 3rd.  Skyes gained ground in the final stage of the race and managed to finish 4th having Nicky Hayden finish on 5th place.
