Yamaha Motor India has launched the all-new Fazer 250 (Fazer 25) motorcycle in the country for Rs. 1,28, 335 (Ex-showroom, Mumbai). The new quarter-litre offering is the Japanese auto giant's second launch for 2017 after FZ25 and gets all-new full fairing. It is a step up from the Fazer 150 model and can be seen as entry level sports tourer. It will share its platform, engine and suspension with its naked sibling FZ25.
Yamaha Fazer 250 uses the same 249 cc single-cylinder, air-cooled, Blue Core engine with fuel injection. On the FZ25, the motor churns out 20.69 bhp @ 8000 rpm and peak torque of 20 Nm @ 6000 rpm, while paired to a 5-speed gearbox. It weighs 154 kg. The main highlights of the motorcycle are LED single headlamp unit with AHO (Automatic Headlamp On), aerodynamic cowl with wind protector, digital LCD instrument display, spilt seats, single piece handle bar and chrome finished heat shield on the exhaust.
