Yamaha MT-09 to hit Indian roads by May 16

Yamaha India will start delivery of MT-09 motorcycles from May 16. Launched at 2016 Auto expo, the high performance street vehicles will come as CBU (Completely Built up units).

 

Powered by 850 cc, triple cylinder, liquid cooled engine, the bike produces a power of 115 PS @10,000 rpm and a peak torque of 87.5 Nm @ 8500 rpm. With traction control system, ABS and comfortable riding posture, this super bike will compete with Triumph Street Triple (locally assembled) and Kawasaki Z800 (CBU from Thailand) in the same segment. Its expected price is 10.2 lakhs in Delhi (Ex showroom)
